Stencils are an easy, cheap way of marking all kinds of surface. The benefits of using stencils rather than stick on vinyl are that you only have to buy one stencil. Once you have your stencil you can keep reusing it without having to spend anymore money- apart from pain that it.

A second benefit of stenciling over vinyl stickers is that the stenciling process uses permanent paint rather than sticky plastic which can easily be peeled off. Stenciled items are harder to remove and are therefore better for anti theft purposes

Simply design the stencil you need and send us the file. you don't have to use a stencil styled typeface if you don't want- most fonts can be converted into stencil compatible formats.The only thing your stencil will need are tabs or bridges which hold everything together- we can work these into your stencil design before we machine it.

We make stencils in all types of materials (see list below). The cheapest stencil material is hardboard, this is used for stencils that will have light use such as packaging. If you want to use your stencils outside we can make designs in 3mm plastic sheet.

Stencils can also be used with sand and shot blasting techniques. If this is the type of thing you want to do we will make your stencils from durable metal sheet.

Other materials can be used if you have had experience with another material and wish to stick with it we will happily use that instead.

Ways to get the CNC stencil message down

We have found that spray or roller methods are the best for use with our stencils.cnc cut stencils Brush application tends to give a blotchy result so where possible use a small gloss roller setup or a decent spray paint.

For car parking bays we find standard line paint- available from most builders merchants- does a really good job.

With full size CNC equipment we can make stencils up to really large sizes. you could also have a series of stencils with different messages nested on one sheet.

Alternatively you can have small A4 paper sized templates on a one off basis.
