Powder Coating

Powder coating is a dry finishing process that uses finely ground particles of pigment and resin that are electrostatically charged and sprayed onto electrically grounded parts. The charged powder particles adhere to the part and are held there until melted and fused into a uniform coating in a curing oven. Due to the high temperatures in the curing process this method cannot be used for metal built up lettering.

Powder coating provides a long-lasting, economical, and durable finish with a range of colour options available for nearly any type of metal. In addition, a powder coated surface will be more resistant against scratches, chipping, wear, and fading compared to other type of finishes.
